Duncan

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Ghostpine Breeders and with our boy, Duncan. From day one, his temperament has been exactly what we hoped for. Inside the house he is calm, gentle, and almost immediately adapted to our rhythm. He came crate trained from Ghostpine and never once cried in his crate, which made those first weeks so much easier. Outside, he is full of energy and playfulness, always ready to run, swim, or explore at the park, campground, or backyard.
At about 50 pounds, Duncan is the perfect size for our family. He’s incredibly intelligent and picked up basic commands almost immediately. By year two, he had excellent recall, respects “no-go” areas in the house, won’t leave the yard even if the gate is open, and stays close when off leash. His attentiveness makes him a wonderful companion at home and on the go.
His personality keeps us laughing. Duncan is goofy and loves to stir up a game of chase or zoom around the backyard with full enthusiasm. At the same time, he’s sweet, cuddly, and non-confrontational with other dogs. His gentle soul shines through in the way he craves snuggles and kisses on his snout.
I grew up with large breed dogs, and when my partner and I settled into our new home in Calgary, we wanted a medium-sized, low-shedding companion who would be playful, respectful, good with children, and easy to train. Duncan has checked every box and more.
When we first visited Ghostpine, he immediately caught our attention by flopping on his back with his paws in the air while his sisters played around him. That sweet, gentle nature is still true to this day, and it is exactly why we fell in love with him instantly. Ghostpine gave us not only a wonderful dog, but a perfect addition to our family.

We stumbled upon Ghostpine Breeders by chance, and we’re so glad we did. From the very first message, their communication was warm, clear, and attentive. They even made time to meet with us right away, which made the whole experience feel so welcoming.
What really stood out was the incredible care and dedication they put into raising their puppies. From the very beginning, the puppies were exposed to all sorts of experiences, helping them grow confident and well-adjusted. It’s obvious how much love and thought goes into everything they do.
We brought home our sweet labradoodle, Josie, and she has been the most wonderful addition to our family. Ghostpine has continued to keep in touch, asking for updates and photos, which means so much — I also love seeing how her littermates are doing.

Samson

Ghostpine breeders were amazing to work! They were quick to respond to any questions and were very accommodating as we were out of town on holidays and they kept Samson for us until we returned!
Samson is an amazing boy! He is very smart and was so easy to train! He’s very affectionate and has a wonderful temperament and personality! He is medium sized which is perfect and has the softest most beautiful red coat. Everywhere we go we get compliments on him. He’s very energetic and spends a lot of time in the outdoors with us and hiking and climbing mountains!
We could not have asked for a better companion! He’s truly an amazing dog - we scored the jackpot with him and we’d love to have another one in the future!!
